[News] JetBlue and Icelandair Starts the New Partnership

Jetblue and Icelandair have entered a closer frequent-flier partnership on May 4th. Now passengers can earn points/miles when taking the other airlines’ flights. Effective immediately, TrueBlue members can earn:

  • 1 point for every 2 miles flown in Icelandair Economy Class.
  • 1 point for every mile flown in Icelandair Economy Comfort.
  • 1.25 points per mile in Icelandair’s Business (Saga) Class.

Meanwhile, Icelandair members can earn fixed miles depends on the routes.

If you want to try JetBlue Mint Class, it is a great chance to earn more JetBlue points if you have a trip to Europe. However, Tripplus still suggests that Icelandair passengers should credit their miles earned from flying into Alaska Airlines’ mileage program for better award redemption.
