  • Annual Fee: $450 ($350 for Citigold clients)
  • Annual Fee for Each Authorized User: $50

1. You may get the most value out of your points when points are transferred to airline partners.

2. If you are a Citigold customer, in-branch application will allow you to qualify for the lower annual fee at $350.

3. If you take advantage of the 4th night free benefit, you can pretty much earn back your annual fee. If your work allows you to book work travels and charge with your own credit, you'll be able to get significant profit from Citi Prestige's reimbursement.

4. One Priority Pass Select membership is awarded to each authorized user. It might be well worth it to give the lounge access to your friend and family by paying the additional $50 annual fee for an authorized user.

5. The $250 yearly airline travel credit is good for any air travel and goes by calendar year. If you applied for Citi Prestige in now, you'll be able to get two rounds of $250 airline travel credit (total of $500) before your second annual fee hits.

Restrictions when you apply:

1. You can only apply for one Citi card every eight days, and can apply for no more than two Citi cards every 65 days. Also, you can only apply for one Citi Business card every 95 days. Due to these restrictions, it is not possible to have multiple applications on the same day to combine credit inquiries (hard-pull).

2. You are not eligible to receive the sign-up bonus if you had received sign-up bonus reward points/miles from the same series in the past 24 months.

3. If your online application is not instantly approved, you may call the reconsider line 1-800-695-5171 to request for reconsideration.

The Citi Prestige is the premium card with great benefits. Points earned with the Citi Prestige can be combined with those earned with the Citi ThankYou Preferred, and Citi ThankYou Premier cards before transferring to partner airlines for ticket redemption. Compared to the Citi ThankYou Premier card, the Citi Prestige offers such high-end benefits as $250 air travel credit, reimbursement for your application fee for Global Entry or TSA Pre √…etc. The Citi Prestige also comes with excellent travel protection, such as baggage delay protection and trip delay protection that kicks in when the delay is more than 3 hours, perfect for frequent travelers who want a peace of mind. A lowered annual fee at $350 is available for Citigold clients.
